Tick tock
Another wake up call happened again last Sunday. A young and talented person died in a car accident. Yes, I’m talking about AJ Perez. And I want to grab this opportunity to share my thoughts about the life that we borrowed from God.
WAIT A MINUTE, WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS TALKING ABOUT GOD? WHO ARE YOU? A PROPHET? /EVIL LAUGHSOkay. Here we go again. Like what I’ve said before I am not. But I’m a child of God so I’m here to stand and share the wisdom that I always receive from Him. And its one purpose why I’m here on earth.HOW ABOUT YOU?Life is very short! We never know how much time we are going to stay in this world. God only knows! And speaking of God, we have no right to question Him for whatever is happening in our lives.
“Everything happens for a reason,” according to Ecclesiastes 3:1.
It’s just not a quote used by teenagers in order to rationalize bad things which occur to their innocent little lives. Whatever is happening in our lives is already written but what we do in our lives is still ours. He gave us the gift of free will. Some chose good and some are evil. And with what had happened to AJ’s incident, his driver and the bus driver chose the bad side. His driver overtook the trailer truck while the bus driver had overspeeded.
So, what’s the point? The point is keep doing good on our borrowed time. We shouldn’t waste our time living for evil doings or for ourselves even. Remember, whenever we do good, there’s an exchange blessing from Him(Galatians 6:9). Isn’t it exciting to receive a reward from God?
IMO, AJ Perez is one example of a good doer. He accomplished a lot at the young age, he graduated with honor, he helped his parents, he cherished the moments he had with his friends. His personality was amazing! He’s very friendly. He’s a humble person and most of all, God-fearing.
My sister, Niña, is one of his friends. And the way she talks about AJ, I can see how wonderful AJ was. They met thru Yza, who is head-over-heels to AJ. LOL. That’s why, when they found out, they cried buckets! My sibs and I, too! We found out like this time, around three in the morning. He’s really been part of these two charming girls’ lives.

One funny thing though is that some people have just reminded themselves to cherish their lives.. live their lives to the fullest.. say “I LOVE YOUs” or show your love to your love ones as much as possible.. whenever someone dies suddenly. But I think if you love God and/or you’re a follower of Christ, you don’t need these reminders. You already knew that others must see His reflection in you — a joyful, one.. loving. You get what I mean? AND you know what? The ONLY AND A-MUST thing you do is to offer your life to Christ Jesus. Accept Him as your personal Savior.
“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God.” - Ephesians 3:17-19
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11
It’s never too late to change!
“By his power we live and move and exist.’ Some of your own poets have said: ‘For we are his children.’ Since we are God’s children, you must not think that God is like something that people imagine or make from gold, silver, or rock. In the past, people did not understand God, and he ignored this. But now, God tells all people in the world to change their hearts and lives.” - Acts 17:28-30
Your time is ticking away! BUT! Let me pray for you. I still want to encourage you to ask God’s forgiveness and accept Him as your God and Savior!
Father, whoever is reading this right now, I pray that he/she may feel Your presence, too. Lord, first and foremost, we’re asking for Your forgiveness. Forgive him/her whatever he/she have done. Sorry for the time they’ve wasted.. that sometimes they forgot to pray or just to whisper a little prayer for You.. that sometimes they forgot to thank You for the blessings that You’ve given us each day of our lives(even the trials). God, I pray that they will accept You as their God and Savior. You may give them wisdom and knowledge, patience, perseverance, and conviction as You change their hearts — a change that they will make a full turn towards You completely. I pray they may remember their First Love.. and that is You! Thank you for always caring us, guiding us, and loving us! Lord, may you renew their lives to amazing and purposely lives! We love You, Lord! We give you all back the glory and honor.. In Jesus Name.. Amen and Amen.
Hope you will have a moment with God after reading this blog. Anyway, my sister, Yza and the rest of AJ’s friends went to his wake yesterday. I haven’t talked to my sister yet about what happened and whatnot.
To Mr. and Mrs. Perez.. on behalf of my family, words cannot help much at the present time but, please accept our heartfelt condolences extended to your family. We are still in great sadness and shock! I was actually making this blog for few hours now. I was at lost for words. Whenever I see anything about AJ, I can’t help myself. I break down and cry. I just pray that God may give us all comfort and strength as we go on in our lives. We can make it by prayer!
“We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!” - Philippians 4.12-13
To AJ.. thank you! Thank you for being with us in just a little time. Thank you for inspiring us with your good deeds, your amazing talents, and your wonderful personality. I know you’re in God’s paradise right now. Can you please tap our Father and ask Him to help us to move forward to our lives, especially your family? Thank you! We will surely miss you! You will live forever in our hearts! T_T
